In light of the imminent episcopal consecrations within the framework of the SSPX, the Superior General has published a “Declaration of Catholic Faith.” Faced with the grave errors spread by those who hold positions of power in the Church and who are destroying the Faith and morals, every true Catholic should embrace this Declaration.
Therefore, writes Bishop Schneider, the gravity of “the current situation of the Church can only be described as a true state of necessity, which the SSPX rightly affirms. One would have to be blind not to see it.” And whoever in the Church still denies this true state of necessity today is either spiritually blind, or considers the naked emperor to be decently clothed—as in Andersen’s “The Emperor’s”—or behaves like the servant who, before the burning castle, cries out:”All is well, Madame la Marquise!”
