Receive me, Lord

"Receive me, Lord, according to your Word, and I will live!"

On the feast of the Epiphany of Our Lord, our brother Placide made his first religious vows for three years.

Guided by an inner star, he came from his faraway land, Brazil, to offer God gold, frankincense and myrrh. With gold, he will offer Him his own life; with incense, a symbol of prayer and adoration, he will offer his heart, renouncing human loves to have only one love: God, whom he will serve, praise, sing day and night; and with myrrh, the ointment to embalm the dead, he will indulge in universal mortification, the gift of self, which passes through death to sin.” (Sermon of the R.P. Prior for the Epiphany)

We entrust our brother to your prayer, dear friends, and thank you again for your help which brings this place of prayer to life, and we ask God that this comes back in abundant graces on all your families!
